“ShangriLa lives up to its name, tucked away with a private drive separate from the adjoining neighborhood. Much of the time we felt like we were the only ones on the lake. The house is immaculate and attractively decorated. (We loved the moose dice.) The deck provides idyllic views of the lake, framed by a weeping willow and a cedar. As it faces north, it was perfect for viewing the Aurora Borealis (picture below). There’s still a slight amount of light pollution in the area, so the Milky……

“Had a fantastic time, family, friends fishing and just all around a great time. Place was perfect for our needs, had all the amenities and more one could ask. Host went the extra mile to see we had everything we needed. Will be back same time next year ”

“This was in a great location, close to town. We really enjoyed staying in this private oasis. We enjoyed how thorough Rick was before check-in and during our stay. The cabin was filled with resources on how utilities work, use of outdoor equipment, and household items to use (towels, extra blankets/pillows, washer/dryer). Everything worked as it should have, and the directions were easily understandable. Our dog also loved the freedom to run around in the yard which is far enough from the road……

“From the cozy and spacious living space to the beautiful outdoor area, this place has it all. Our hosts had everything and more for kitchen amenities and outdoor games/rec gear. They were very quick to bring us more household supplies when needed. We enjoyed the kayaks and fire pit as well. Definitely would visit again!”

“We stayed for a weekend and had a great time. This cabin's location is better than the photos in many ways, it's relatively private from the surrounding cabins and has a great overlook on the lake that's partially obstructed by trees, which I thought was a good thing (less boat noise from the lake). The cabin was well stocked with what you need (soaps, toiletries), dishware and silverware, kitchen utensils. It was clean, tidy, and had enough space for our group of 7 adults. Nice appliances, and……

“Third summer we have stayed here for a week. Love the place. The bunkhouse fits our 6 teenage boys to a T! Plenty to do with the lake right there. We hope to come back again some day! There are 12 of us and there is plenty of room for eating, watching a movie or playing games.😀”

“Rented out this place for a weekend fishing trip on leech. Great place. Really clean and spacious exactly like the pictures. It wasn't mentioned if they had a grill on the property, so I brought one just in case, but they do have one that runs on propone. Honestly the best thing which I was kind of worried about if my group should of brought ourself are household consumables i.e.. toilet paper, paper toilets, hand soap etc. They had it all supplied for us. Appreciated the stash of board games……

“Shannon and Randy were great hosts, they clearly wanted us to have a good time (and we had a great time). The Crappie Cabin was clean, warm and very cute. Randy is a fishing guide, and although he had other clients booked for this weekend, he encouraged us to fish along side with him, free of change. Randy put us on the fish, and the fishing was really good. We will be booking another stay with them next year because we had such a good time!”
