"Our room was fantastic and updated. The pool areas were gorgeous! Many of the staff, however, weren't very friendly nor accommodating and the Steakhouse, which was a draw to stay there, was closed for several days each week. Parking with a trailer is not convenient, and requires crossing a busy road by foot, to get back to the Casino. We would stay here again, but would also look to other options due to these drawbacks. "

"I stayed in Hyatt Place South Reno for two nights. It was definitely a pleasant experience. The room is very neat and clean. The staffs are nice and friendly. The coffee is delicious. And the breakfast tastes pretty good."

"I usually don’t like staying at a place where the door is outside but our room was on the 2nd floor & facing the courtyard. The room looked exactly like the picture & it was clean. We were there for a volleyball tournament at the Reno Sparks Convention Center. Lots of shopping/dining options in the area. It was perfect for the 5 nights we were there"

"It’s a very good property. It looks either new or remodeled recently. Great breakfast! Room is not very big, but it’s big enough. Close to movie theater and grocery shopping if needed. Good for families because it’s a suite. Only downside is that sometimes the road traffic is noisy at night. "

"Nice basic hotel at a very good price. The breakfast is just junk food, so don't expect much from that. I bought groceries and had my own breakfast in my room. the kitchenette is nice, but no dishes, utensils, or pots and pans. I bought some very cheap at Walmart and will bring them for my next stay here."

"Weekend trip to Reno, hotel was very clean, but just a bit dated. Pull out sofa bed was horrendously lumpy and needs replacing. Linens in room were new, fresh and very nice. I felt safe, some street noise at night , but zero noise from halls or rooms. I would stay here again. Super convenient to UNR."
