“We booked this hotel as a last minute break away. The reception, bar and lounge areas were lovely, clean and relaxing but the bedrooms are looking abit tired and were clean.The hotel did inform us and there were photographs of what the hotel will look like after the refurbishment which is due to start in 2025 on display. The staff were amazing, friendly and attentive. ”

“The hotel had a lovely atmosphere with well chosen antique furniture. Staff were both helpful, polite and efficient. Happy to help with a last minute change of booking and also room change to allow us a quieter room on our last night. Breakfast was very good with a great range of cereals and fruit. The homemade fruit yoghurt was a nice surprise Locally sourced food was evident in the cooked breakfast. This is a great hotel handily located close to restaurants and shops.”

“On way back from top of Scotland this was a lovely stop over, amazing views of the hills. Staff fantastic, food excellent good bar selection and a fab lounge with log burner for the guests. Rooms are perfect for what you need. Only minor gripe is the mattress on the bed was a bit tired and could do with changing. Overall fab place. Defo use again”
