We arrived at the property around 10ish PM to check in. Upon check-in the representative Yasmin advise me that I had a king room. I told her I did not. She went back-and-forth about seven times when she told me, Yes, Expedia‘s reservation came through as a king bed reservation. I told her That was not true and I showed her my reservation on my Expedia app. She then said “ohh”at that point the manager was walking by and asked what was going on. She told him that one of their employees whose name starts with a “M” changed my room from two double beds to one king bed and they no longer had any rooms available. ( how quick the story changed ) The manager said oh we’re sorry there’s nothing we can do. at this point it is almost 11 PM. My children had a national competition w/ a 6AM call time. we were tired. the manager, Christian stated that they’re allowed to do that with any reservation they receive. My reservation was paid for in advance in full, so there was no reason for someone to change it. When I asked, where would my children sleep? He told me he would give me a blanket and a pillow and they could sleep on the floor, I was floored. I told him that I would not pay to sleep on the floor. He stated he would contact Expedia to give me a refund. He never did. I had to contact Expedia, They ended up giving me a refund. We called them multiple times for the pillows and blankets. They never answered the phone and hung up on us three times. Be careful booking this hotel.
