Case de León is located minutes from West Palms City Place and Beach, the property is perfect with lush landscaping and newly renovated interior. The property has two modern bedrooms with 2 queen beds and a third room with two pull out sofa beds, one queen and one twin. Easily acquire transportation nearby and walk to restaurants or convention center or even downtown in Flamingo Park. The beach is only a 5 minute drive or ride away. Clematis Street and City Place are both only 3 minutes away. Property can be rented for 7 day or longer periods please inquiry for more info.

Okay but needs work
The house was advertised as a 3 bedroom and it is not. They have a sofa bed in the living room which is not separated. The house was pretty dirty when we moved in. I had to clean all the drawers and shelves. The floors were sticky and the fence had several large holes big enough to fit a truck through. However, the owner was very responsive and within a month had a new fence installed.

Perfect
It was very close to everything we wanted to do. It was so clean and absolutely beautiful. Only first pulled up, they even took the time to plant points. That is outback by the pool. As we were there for Christmas. I can't wait to go back. The beds were comfortable. The place was so clean. We invited some family over to open Christmas presents. It was just a wonderful time.

Location, location, location
CAREFULL IT’S A 2 BDRMS AND NOT 3 BDRMS HOUSE AS ADVERTIZED. Given that aside, great backyard, perfect location. The house would need some TLC but it is priced accordingly. The kitchen had been more equipped and the grill worked, we would have eaten more at the house.

Amazing backyard and pool!
My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this cute home. While I agree with some of the reviews that mention there are a few details that could be tended to, I cannot say that any of those were really a huge deal. Especially since the backyard and pool were so wonderful! The photos here don't do them justice. Very private, clean, beautifully landscaped - it was like our own little oasis. We loved being able to step out the back door and jump right into the clean, heated pool. And our small dog loved running around the fenced-in yard. We appreciated a lot about the interior of the house as well, such as the two full bathrooms, the washer & dryer, and the overall layout. (A lot of the furniture and decor was different than what's shown in the photos here.) We also loved the neighborhood, Flamingo Park - lovely homes and good eateries within walking distance. Kurt was good with communication, too. Overall, a great stay!

Good location, needs major updating
I’ll start with the good. Great location in Weat palm , restaurants in walking distance and lots to do in the area and real close to the interstate. Pool is nice, expect to see black snakes and iguanas in back yard, they didn’t bother me. The bad, listing was incorrect. The house is a 2 bedroom and the couches in living room are not pull out beds. I had a family member sleeping on a couch the entire week. The house needs major interior updating. Their was no broom so we could do daily cleaning or sweep up sand that we brought back from the beach. The owner did respond to one of my messages and gave me the Wi-Fi password which was nice even though the listing said no Wifi. There was piles of trash in the driveway that we had to move to pull into the driveway. The bathroom sinks had soap residue in them and weren’t cleaned properly. Their were clothes in the drawers from either owner or previous renters.

Many appliances need repairs and no supplies
Had to get toilet paper, garbage bags, and paper towels when we first arrived. Tried cooking and only one burner sort of worked. Microwave door broken. Bedroom fan missing blade when turned on thought it would fly off. Had to change lightbulbs in bathroom. Smoke detectors went off in middle of the night due to low batteries. Had to go buy and replace batteries. Bbq grill rusty and didn’t work. Sunday morning TV and internet was off because it needed to be paid. We tried numerous times to contact him and it came back on because he paid bill around 1:00 PM. A stranger showed up during the week to clean house and we were not aware of her coming so we didn’t let her in. I asked her who see worked for and she couldn’t answer. TV in bedroom last two nights didn’t work because it said no signal.

Place is a joke- not a vacation rental!
Did not stay/ could not stay! Gross. Dirty! Cleaning ladies were finishing upon arrival- check in was delayed due to that. Cleaning was not properly done-or they only wiped down table, counter tops, and cleaned floors and toilets. The house is a mess. Both closets had linens, sheets and pillows SHOVED in there! Not neatly folded ready for use, extra pillows thrown ON THE FLOOR of closets. Looked like kids had a slumber party, used the sheets and then tumbled them to put away in closets. Imagine a 5 year old folding the sheets- yes that’s what they looked like! Not one sheet was folded properly. Were they used prior and not washed? Disgusting! Sheets on beds were STAINED, so gross. The dryer/washer- broken. Couldn’t even wash those nasty sheets. The ceiling fan had a broken blade (really?!) The bathroom was rusted in bathtub, and all the tiles were chipping. The vanity’s white finish was all chipping and lifting off the drawers as well as the small tiles around the sink area. Bath mat had hair balls! The furniture looked like they were used and abused full of stains and so worn out we didn’t even want to sit on the couches. I even used some sheets to cover the couches. Thats when I attempted to wash them and learned the washer/ dryer don’t work. The house is like a storage of old worn out pieces of furniture no one wanted. I can’t believe someone would rent this place out like that. The 2 beds were stained/ dirty. Why would anyone want to stay at a home disorganized, broken and dirty when the home they live in isn’t under those conditions? Host stopped responding to my concerns immediately, which were address within an hour of arrival. Wouldn’t refund me, VRBO wouldn’t either. It’s ok I called my bank and they are taking care of it- So I got my money back. Host offered to send cleaning ladies again, yeah that would not address the problems! This place is not a vacation rental- this is a place that looks like a dirty, single person lives in there (because no way 2 people would be okay with the conditions of that house) and then he wants to make a profit renting it out!?? The pictures were not even accurate. Different furniture were used in pictures and none of bathroom had towel holders- just HOLES and PATCHES of where they WERE. Absolutely no effort, not a way to run a business. The host needs to go online and see how REAL vacation rentals should look like. Or get a clue! Must be a rookie or he absolutely does not care and scams ppl. BEWARE!

Nice but needs work.
Nice place but needs some minor repairs. Ceiling fan in bedroom is missing a blade so it doesn’t work, toilet in master bedroom takes over an hour to refill. Dryer didn’t work properly and the coffee maker didn’t work at all.

With proper management, this would be a wonderful place to vacation. During our visit the toilet in the master did not work, the tub in that bathroom had much rust around the faucets making it unhealthy to use, there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher, the coffee maker had dead bugs in the basket housing, the pool needed attention upon arrival, and the television xfinity service did not work until the end of our 2nd day's stay. Pictures presented on the site did not represent what is actually there; very used and tired furniture in the living room. In its current state, I would suggest it be removed from your rental site.

Good location
We had a good time at this property - the main thing for us was to have a fenced yard for our dogs and that, we had. Very quiet location too. The AC broke however the property manager took care of it immediately. Not a luxury stay at all but for the price we paid we think we had everything we needed. The location is GREAT, close to everything.

Good, but could be better
The house is in a good neighbor and has a great backyard. The inside is not at all like what is pictured. The pool never heated enough to be able to use it. Overall, the stay was good, but the communication with property manager was not the greatest. We left our Chromecast behind, which was our mistake. We tried to get in contact with the property manager to send him a pre-paid label for him to ship it back to us. He said it wasn’t at the property and he’d check with the cleaning team. We tried several times after to get in contact with him and did not receive a reply.

Back yard was amazing.
The house was nice. Not what was shown in the pictures but fine. There was a lot of wear an tear but it was functional. We were willing to over look all the issues because the pool was amazing. The location was great, so close to everything. Overall we had a great vacation.

So amazing!
We loved our stay and enjoyed the backyard so much! The privacy was great! The pool heater was great and everyone enjoyed the pool all day and even night time! It was a great experience and we loved everything! The beds super comfortable too!

DIRTY AND LIVED IN
We COULD NOT stay here; it was dirty and not set up for travelers. It is a residential home where the host lives and occasionally moves out to use it as a Vrbo. There were opened bottles of shampoo and Listerine in the bathroom. Opened boxes of cereal and chips in the kitchen. The advertised Keurig coffee maker had two pods tucked away in the corner of the kitchen. Again, WE DID NOT STAY in the unit, and so far, the host has refused to refund our payment.

Great, care-free family vacation house!
We had a fabulous time. It was an established, family neighborhood And we felt completely safe. Pool was perfect! I think it could be tight for 6 adults and 2 kids plus a pet, but would be comfortable for 4 adults, 2 kids and a pet to my way of thinking. Has everything you need. Great location - less than 10 minutes from airport. Less than 5 min from Publix grocery and just around the corner from a cool new warehouse district restaurant/shop complex. Also less than a 5 min drive to Palm Beach island. If driving, you could bring bikes and ride to the island to save $$. meter parkIng on the island is $5/hr. Municipal beach there is guarded and beautiful. If driving or renting a car we felt perfectly safe leaving our car in the house driveway. The house is adequately equipped but some of the details need just a little work. It looked to us like they were still in the process of some renovations like painting and putting up some new blinds. Great screened front porch but wasn’t as comfortable as it could be- I was a bit leary of sitting on the chairs on the front porch. Overall we loved it. It is a perfect place to have a comfortably priced family vacation in a pricey area with a relaxed, carefree environment.

Pure Tropical Serenity
We spent a weekend at Casa De Leon, and the tropical setting could not have been more perfect! The 1920's home has all of the modern conveniences, in a beautiful residential area, but close to all of the culture of downtown West Palm Beach. What can I say about the backyard? It's pure tropical serenity...a climate controlled swimming pool with tropical plants and lighting, surrounding a lovely deck area, tastefully manicured and super-private. There was a nice outdoor table and lounge chairs, as well as foam floats for luxuriating in the pool. The kitchen was very well equipped, the dining room was beautiful, the living room was very conversational (2 couches and a loveseat), the front porch was so cute (and so early 1900's), the bedrooms were comfortable and well equipped, and both bathrooms were modern, functional, and well-stocked with papergoods. Although we had little time for electronics, it seems that the wifi, internet, tv, and streaming services were. all available to use. Please note that it has two queen bedrooms and two bathrooms...the extra beds are actually sofa beds in the living room. We would DEFINITELY book this lovely home again! Thanks again for the lovely weekend!
