"This is a gem! Room was spotless with plenty of tea, coffees etc, there was even biscuits. Plenty of hanging space. There were even a few books in case you wanted to read. Plenty of lights and plugs. The room i was in faced the beach which is quite literally across the road. There was a very comfortable chair and a little table right in front of the window, it was lovely watching the Mumbles Lighthouse at night! There was also a 2 seater sofa that doubles as another bed if needed. Opposite my room there was a kitchen with microwave and plates, fridge and utensils. There is a shop round the corner where you can buy food, drinks etc. The town centre, bus station and a huge Tesco is about a 10 minute walk away but there are also bus stops nearby. I didnt try the food as i was out from 9am to 9pm but it is vegan/vegetarian and incredibly reasonably priced. The owner carried my suitcase to the room and even checked about an hour later to make sure everything was ok and to see if i needed anything. I absolutely loved it there and can't wait to return with my daughter and granddaughter. By the way, in the cafe downstairs they have loads of board games. I have stayed in lots of hotels in swansea and elsewhere and i can honestly say this is the best hotel i have stayed in. The owner could easily charge a lot more for his rooms as he has thought of everything, it has a homely feel and incredibly fantastic value for money! See you again soon, seriously can't wait!"

They all seem so happy, as does the Manager herself who is very proud of each and every one of her team."

"Building is undergoing roof works so is covered in scaffolding - however no interruptions and inside was an oasis of calm. Staff across all departments were exemplary and the room was comfortable bright and well appointed - food in the restaurant was excellent in the evening and breakfast to excellent with plenty of options"

"King Arthur Hotel, a beautiful old buiding, log fires,lots of photos of years gone by. Stayed in a room above the pub, small but suitable for our needs. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Food was excellent. The only criticism is the water pressure of the shower was poor, otherwise an enjoyable experience. "
