“I really enjoyed my stay at Lovat House - the room and bathroom was very spacious, the bed SO comfortable and the host, Joe, was a delight!!! It’s easy to find and in a great location and I had no trouble parking. If I return to Crieff, I will be going back and I thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Crieff.”

“Nice central place to stay. Staff nice and helpful. Only down side was the bottom surround of the shower had black mould the rest of the room was lovely n clean. As was only staying 1 night was able to miss using the shower. Would still recommend but advise to have this issue seen to.”

“Lovely location and setting, rooms were clean and comfy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Free parking at the hotel was a bonus. Thanks very much for a lovely stay, would come back. PS. Haggis for breakfast made my day :)”

“It is a beautiful property, with friendly, chatty and interested staff. When we stayed there was lovely Christmas family experiences, lots of family groups, disco and games in the evening, Santa visited all very exciting. In the midst of this were several adult guests who seemed to be forgotten. Although there was an adults only bar.,....right beside the children's party. I adore children but had hoped to have a relaxing and calm pre Christmas break which didn't happen. It would have been……

“Fantastic views, a comfortable room. Was cold to start but the owner helped rectify this when we spoke about it. Having said this it was -2 all that day ! We didn't have any further problems after this. ”

“A very historic hotel recently refurbished for tourist trade. Clean and spacious bedroom with large en-suite well supplied with handles and anti-slip mat. Very comfortable double bed and also single in room with plenty room to spare. Pretty side view over gardens towards River Tay and hills. Excellent friendly service at reception and breakfast and they were quite happy to let me use wi-fi in lounge area after technical check-out time. Would definitely recommend for those on a budget and older……

“Hotel, grounds and location were very good. Unfortunately the spa facilities were a let down. Pool are was cold and unsuitble for relaxing. Steam room was cool and sauna had draft coming in. Other residents hogging the hot tub and not vacating it during cleaning cycle.”

“Great dog friendly hotel. Very comfortable and food was excellent. Large portions, very reasonable priced. Staff very friendly and efficient. Had never taken our 8 year old dog to a hotel before and wasn’t sure how well he would cope but the hotel is very heated up for dogs and our stay was very relaxed. ”
