“Our family wanted to find a place to get together on the one year anniversary of the death of my wife to be by ourselves and share some memories. This place looked ideal when I looked it up on VRBO. It was every bit as good as we thought that it would be and more.The space is very large, even larger than it looks in the photographs. It takes up almost the entire downstairs area of a very large house. Even though we had seven members in our group, it didn't seem like we were right on top of each……

“Great space for our large group and well stocked with kitchen items, bedding and towels. I have given it 4 stars because the driveway, sidewalks and porch were not shoveled when we arrived. A good few inches of snow came in a day before we arrived so I feel like it should have been done. We couldn’t find a shovel so we had to use a dust pan to make a path out the front of the house otherwise we would’ve tracked an insane amount of snow into the home. “The owner contact through the VRBO text app was immediately responsive, as in, within seconds! The house was charming, cozy, roomy and well supplied. The price was perfect for our budget. We are a group of 8 retired women hikers so really enjoyed the massage chair downstairs at the end of the day! The chickens in the little coop were sweet and politely friendly and not noisy. So fun to visit every day. We didn't have time to gather and cook the few eggs offered up, but how wonderful to have……

“The property was exactly as stated in the listing. Everything was very clean. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything you need for cooking and baking. This is an excellent property if you have kids because they have everything you need including kids games, toys, pack-n-play, baby gates, kids dishes, and more! “Awesome little place on the river. Fishing was good, quiet and really enjoyed the fire pit. Located next to train tracks and trains rolled through a couple times in the early morning, didn’t really bother us though as we knew the tracks were there when we booked it. Overall, great place!”
