“Budget Inn, for our trip proximity to speedway was important. Mrs. Barnes is a wonderful asset to the property offering charming hospitality. It does not overstate; it is a budget hotel. Decor / furnishings are old but neat. Fridge & microwave worked fine. Smoke alarm was going off due to dead battery and it was fixed within 10 minutes by staff. Pool and lounge were closed but that was not important to our group. ”

“This place had a Queen bed in the master, a sofa that pulled out to another Queen And Twin Bunkbeds. We had a great time watching tv in the living room and playing at the park and enjoying the dock plus we stayed during Halloween! A lot to do and A lot more space then I could have imagined ”

“House was better than described--should include a picture of the deck that runs the length of the house and overlooks the yard and lake! Perfect size for 6 adults and 1 baby. Kitchen accesories were better quality than a usual VRBO.DD coffee, charging outlets next to the bed; Meyers soap in the bathrooms; plenty of trashbags, dishwaster soap, beach towels, etc! Great dock!”

“The property is very spacious and well maintained. We rented the main level, which has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It was great. The kitchen is huge. The views from the deck are really nice too. For part of the stay we rented a small upstairs apartment for our friends. It was so nice. The owner is very pleasant too. Overall it was an excellent stay and we would definitely stay there again.”
