“Unit is self contained so no contact required with owners/staff. I received instructions the day we arrived on how to access the room as we were going to arrive after 8pm, so not sure if we had arrived earlier if that would have been different. We didn’t order breakfast but I understand it arrives by basket and is left outside. Nice room/apartment set back from Sint Paulusplaats. Easy to find from Antwerpen Centraal Station. We took trams 10 and 7 with a change at Nationale Bank. Close to bars……

“The reception office was locked with no one inside upon our arrival. The door had instructions to call a local phone number, meaning the cost of an international phone call paid by us. The male employee appeared on foot 5 minutes later. Explaining that the hotel is "5 different buildings," our room was down the street with an unmarked door. Our entry immediately upset 2 small dogs, who barked continuously at us while we walked down the hall, up the stairs and for 20 minutes after. Our room was……

“Locatie op steenworp afstand van het oude centrum, de Grote Markt. Gezellige omgeving. Zeer vriendelijk ontvangen, upgrade naar de suite gehad. ”

“Barely merits being called a hotel. The bedroom had no blind, was next to a night club, the stairs to the floor below were perilous, the electrical sockets were broken, the furniture was Spartan. We were asked to hand over more money than we had agreed on Expedia in cash when we arrived. Awful. The location was the only good point. ”
