We liked the restaurant on the ground floor, open until late, it had various dining options, a full bar, espresso and all sorts of coffee drinks. A great perk was the "hydration station", which offered free refills of either flat or carbonated water, with ice. The staff was courteous and answered all our requests. The rooftop bar and sushi place was also very nice. We had a couple of minor issues working with the iPad, which controls pretty much everything in the room, but overall we had a great experience.

I highly enjoyed my five night stay at CitizenM Hotel Washington DC Capitol. Room: Smaller in size (perfect for solo travel), but well set up (i.e storage under bed, iPad to control lights/aircon/window blinds). Location: The hotel is a short walk from L’Enfant Plaza Metro and the National Mall. The Wharf and Tidal Basin are also walkable from the hotel. The rooftop has amazing views and a sushi bar which is worth checking out.

No parking, and no loading zone, so checking in and out with luggage was absolutely awful. The staff weren’t super friendly at check in and did not help with the process. Semi- convenient location but I would not stay here again.

The property itself is stunning! The lounge areas offer art pieces that stimulate and simultaneously soothe. Yenny, the night manager, is a gem!!! She resolved a problem my husband and I had with booking, and went above and beyond what she needed to do. She then checked in with us the following day to inform us of further steps she had taken. Yenny made us feel like valued guests. We will definitely be returning to CitizenM NE!!!

Eclectic decor. Colorful. Great artwork. Breakfast is not included but worth the extra fee. Super helpful staff! Great location. Rooms are small but efficiently designed. Incredibly comfortably bed.

The hotel itself was nice, clean, and modern. Check in and check out were super quick and easy. I didn’t use the gym but they did have one. The room was clean and had nice finishes. The lights, TV, temperature, and shades were all controlled by an iPad in the room. However, the temperature didn’t seem to change no matter what temperature I set it at. It was a bit chilly for my preference and even when I set the temperature to 78° it didn’t change. Also, the water pressure was pretty abysmal in both the shower and the sink, and the conditioner was really runny and chunky. I chose this hotel for its proximity to the National Mall and the metro, and would probably stay here again but would be wary of the temperature and water pressure.
