“Very special hotel. However, reception staff are not too friendly.”

“The room was cosy and warm lots of little extras and nice touches. Just across a paved area from the restaurant and bar, but no noise at night. Food in the restaurant was good, have been here for a meal before and always enjoyed it. I was there for a wedding and the lady in charge was so helpful and couldn’t have done more ”

“My wife and i were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and i booked a night at THE SWANS NEST HOTEL as we had our honeymoon at a B&B namedTHE SWAN in 1974,,, I actually contacted the hotel prior to arrival to tell them about the occasion of our visit , which was a surprise for my wife ,, On getting to our room we were visited by a member of staff asking if we would like to move to another room , The hotel had given us an upgrade room to mark the occasion Speechless was not how……

“We were really disappointed on arrival as the hotel was covered in scaffolding and the entrance looked much more like a 1970s multi-storey carpark than a 4* hotel. The stairs (the lift was out of order), reception area and room were very dated. The soundproofing in the bathroom was non-existent (my wife could hear everything next door). Having said that the beds were comfortable, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was ok.”

“Too hot in early July. Small stairs. Otherwise staffs are good.”

“Great spot close to the arena. Welcoming fire in the lobby and lovely staff but you need to be patient!”
