“Cottage is rustic but clean in an amazing location. The view out to the boats moored in the water is one of a kind. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen and it worked well for us -- good sharp knives was a plus. Being able to walk down the dock and get the freshest lobsters possible for an excellent price was the highlight of our stay. Free access to kayaks was another nice amenity -- lots of coast to explore. The house is a little quirky (uneven floors and bathroom door is really a curtain),……

“We (two adults, one dog) spent four nights in June '24 and enjoyed all of them. Slept with open windows to the sound of the wind in the trees or the rain on the roof. Fully functional place with high speed internet, good water pressure, full kitchen, plenty coffee, easy nearby shopping. Highly recommended--both the cabin and the island.”

“We spent three nights at Pauls Cottage. As a local host for vacation homes on Cape Cod. I pay attention to the details.The home had a three night minimum.The fee for the host was as much as the nightly rate. There for we expected the service to match the rate. Check in for the cottage was 4:00. We had a 4 1/2 hour drive and knew we would be coming in late. However, we did not hear from our host on how to enter the cottage. It wasn't until I made a few attempts to reach her and after 6:00 that we……

“Had the good old field of what we always called a "camp." Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and glassware, etc. The lobster processing facility made for a bit of noise and a pretty steady stream of traffic. A lot of trucks, from pickups to semis coming in and out. Didn't really bother us a whole lot but it might bother other people. Overall the view of the water was pretty nice except for the power lines and there's not much that can be done about that. Have to have electricity after all.”

“the cabins were quaint and expectedly tiny, but I was disappointed that not only was there no wifi, I could barely get signal. I loved being out in nature, but its hard to coordinate plans without at least cell data these days. That said, everything else was perfect so I only took off a star.”

“From the time we arrived to the time we left actually a day early the water had a very strong rotten egg smell many emails and phone calls to the management company and it was never resolved. We had to shower and wash dishes in rotten eggs.The home was nice, the mgt. company not recommended. I think owners should have access to guest/mgt company real time communications to head off such a bad guest experience.”

“Returned for our second stay after our initial rental last year. This is a clean, comfortable home with character. The location makes for a short drive to the lighthouse (and a short walk to the ice cream stand). The homeowner is friendly and responsive - really easy to deal with!”

“We booked this over a year ago before our wedding and the host was very quick at responding and answering our questions. The groomsmen and their dates and my family loved it! This is a great location for it all, one thing to be aware, we had it in June and it was perfect weather to have windows open. There is no AC but only AC units in some rooms if needed. Beds were comfy and plenty of space! Our wedding party had plenty of space and rooms to choose from even the detach apartment had its own……
