“PROS: We spent eight nights in this modern up-to-date home. After a couple of fits and starts regarding check-in everything went smoothly. The location, while slightly remote, is still only a 15 minute trip to Damariscotta where you will find plenty of restaurants, shopping and even a theater. The large deck and water views were a plus. Happy to see that a railing had been added to the stairway leading to the main bedroom. CONS: Climate change has made the old adage that you don't need A/C in……

“Very clean inside but lawn needed mowing and weeds were very overgrown. Some minor repairs to the inside of the house would have made the house a absolute amazing time. But we love the location and the size of the house fits our family prefectly.”

“I'm not sure which was better, the actual property and all it had for us, or the wonderful hosts who were there if needed yet quietly away as we could enjoy our stay as we wanted.”

“We had 6 adults traveling from out of state for a wedding in an unfamiliar area. The recommended hotels were 30+ minutes away, so we opted for this rental instead which was minutes away. What a great decision! When at the home, we spent a majority of our time on the porch by the gas fireplace. We also had access to the grill and patio which were fantastic. The homeowners even offered to start a fire for us when we returned home from the wedding. Very easy to communicate with them, and they made……

“3 bedrooms but only 2 fans were provided. There was soot or grime on the kitchen walls. Vacuum was dirty and clogged. Multiple brooms were provided, but no dustpan. Mold in the basement.”
