“First time travelling the Opononi and photos dont do this place justice, we arrived on a sunny day and were blown away by the gorgeous view from the balcony, where we later enjoyed a wine to watch the sunset over the sand dunes.The room was spacious and clean, we stayed in several similar properties whilst in NZ and this was the only one that had a kitchenette with a sink, so we appreciated the convenience.The shower was powerful and the bed was so cosy.When parking we were a bit confused on……

“Stayed over for 2 nights here, while attending a large family and community event re my brother who died in April. We were very comfortable here, and the cottage is very attractive, obviously historic. It was super-well equipped with everything you'd need. Easy access from the road, close to the Kohukohu village, and a clear view across the harbour in front. Thankyou for having us, we'd come again if the need or opportunity arose. ”
