“Lovely hotel. Our room had a little balcony with a great view over the water. Nice foyer sitting area with a pellet burning stove. There is an attached traditional bar and restaurant serving good cold dishes, but no hot meals. Excellent selection of cured meats and cheeses and their own label wine. Very good value.”

“This hotel was an overnight stop off between the coast of Asturias and Rioja. It was very affordable. It did not have the charm of the old buildings but everything we could wish for was there. The food was cheap and very good. The breakfast was enjoyable. The service was good. No complaints. Great Value for money”

“Good value for the cost. Very comfortable bed, high end bathroom and a tasty continental breakfast. Was disappointed that the spa wasn't open despite being advertised as such, and advanced arrival details would have been helpful. ”

Man merkt das Bemühen des Managements, diesen historischen Gebäudekomplex zu erhalten und mit den Erwartungen an ein Hotel in Einklang zu bringen. Der Pool ist wunderschön! Die Nähe zum Bahnhof weniger. Das Essen war gut und preislich völlig in Ordnung. Der Service bemüht, aber offenbar angelernt. Wenn ein paar Renovierungsarbeiten (z. B. Teppich) vorgenommen und die Servicekräfte etwas besser……

“A beautifully designed property with obviously great care being taken. Nicely located for our purposes which were a first visit to Northern Spain with plenty of sightseeing and walking. As a peaceful and rural location it didn't have bars/restaurants/shops on the doorstep but it was only a short 20 minute drive to Reinosa which had supermarkets and restaurants or half an hour to the more substantial Torrelavega. The property was well equipped and in very good condition.”

“Extremely comfortable place very well equipped - it's clear that much love has been invested in the renovation and furnishing of the cabaña- the photos don't do it justice. In an unspoilt location in the Valles Pasiegos. Perfect to watch nature and the weather passing by. Great spot to to explore the northern part of Burgos Province as well as the Valles Pasiegos. Peace, tranquility, nature, vultures, buzzards, short-toed snake eagles. Perfect. We loved it.”
