First time at the Chateau Victoria, and I could not be more impressed. Excellent service! Everyone was very welcoming. I arrived way before check-in time, and they checked me in early at no cost because the room was ready. So great first impression with that! Then I had a minor issue with the shower, and the time between me informing the front desk and the issue being resolved was about 5 minutes, probably less. I also had some urgent work stuff come up, and the front desk helped me with the computer and printer as well as with scanning and sending some documents. Dinner and drinks at Clive’s were delicious with excellent service (as usual). That’s just the people! The hotel location is perfect. It’s downtown so I was near several dining and shopping options. The hotel’s also on a quieter street, so while the excitement is a short walk away, you can easily return to a nice quiet hotel easily. All in all a great stay, and I hope I can come back again soon.

Overall we enjoyed our stay, the staff was great, although we had limited exposure to them. Having a covered parkade was nice. We liked our room (502) other than the shower filling up with water while showering. The water pressure and the way the faucet worked only allowed you to set the temperature and not the flow, so your standing on ankle deep water pretty quick. The sink took forever to get hot water, yet the kitchenette had hot water almost immediately.

The staff was very friendly. They kindly upgraded my daughter and I to two beds instead of one. We walked everywhere and enjoyed good food all around the hotel. It was so clean, especially the pool and hot tub area. I can highly recommend this beautiful hotel!

Staff were friendly and accommodating. We experienced a problem with noise in our room and were moved to a quieter floor. Staff were extremely understanding. The hotel is very conveniently located to all downtown Victoria attractions and amenities and there was ample parking.

Had an unexpected week long stay with my 3 kids and dog in December *cue home alone week* while my husband had to fly back to our hometown. Staff went above and beyond to keep us comfortable. We went to the pool 5 times in one day and had pizza delivered more times than we'd like to admit and the staff kindly turned a blind eye. They knew our dog, Cowboy by name and always had treats/waste bags ready. Area had quite a few unhoused but never had any trouble. We have a campervan that we were nervous about parking in the uncovered parking garage. We voiced this and they gave us a room looking directly over it. Thanks to everyone we met during our stay, especially Glenn. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

What a tremendous stay!!! Definitely using it again when visiting my mother-in-law. It had everything for us,pool,gym, restaurant. The food was exceptional in appearance and flavour. Super bonus and brilliant having it on the 18th floor. The view while you eat is fantastic. You automatically relax and enjoy your meal.Filtered water I used daily on my way out filling up my water bottle. Quiet rooms the only noise is hearing someone opening and closing the blinds. The only negative is only ONE drawer for clothes. Not realistic for a week stay for two. Small room too.So impressed with the cleanliness of everything. They are a family run business and that is why the details matter. They open the door for your approach with full arms or not,love that. All the staff are so welcoming.Pool staff were pushy but I get that 10:30pm is time to leave. I love that there was NO visible garbage around the property. A very caring classy hotel.Even my husband enjoyed himself in the city and he dislikes city. The beds were excellent.Not sunken causing most discomfort disrupted sleep. I usually don't do reviews on hotels but this is an exceptional hotel that I cannot ignore. Thanks for a great stay. See you again
