“We had a large group of friends (adults, plus kids) stay at the King's camp this past weekend for a 3 night stay. We cannot say enough good things about this place - it is such a treasure. The location is fantastic (just a short drive up the road to Blue Lake), with many hiking options close by if you want to get off side. “Being relatively new to musky fishing, I prepared for this trip by listening to podcasts. The best advice I picked up was to find a notable guide for the lake you are going to fish. We found one with Eric from the Hidden Gem and he was spot on both with spots and techniques to use. Over 3 days of fishing hard we rose 16 musky and caught 3, all of which were our PB’s. “The property was very comfortable, we had 9 people. Each couple had there own room or area, up stair loft area that could sleep 7 people. Main floor had 2 bedrooms with Queen beds, exposed walkout basement with twin beds, all spacious areas. The two bathrooms gave plenty of privacy. The rest of house was roomy with couches and recliners . Kitchen was very roomy with nice appliances, also in out building there was another refrigerator for drinks and frozen fish.
