the honey hole was a very nice roomy houseboat. this was our second trip down and i have to say the Honey Hole was far more accommodating than our last stay. the beds and furniture were comfortable. We are thankful for the stay and would definitely book it again

We loved our stay at the Honey Hole! Plenty of room and the A/C worked great (which is most important to me!!) Definitely recommend if you are heading to Venice for a fishing charter.

Great stay at the Honey Hole
Great experience from booking, through the stay, and checkout. Nice, clean houseboat with all the amenities you need for a good time down in Venice! Owner/manager we’re great and very responsive and I’d recommend anyone to stay here. Not having bunk beds was a plus, large ice machine, good fish cleaning station and just a good experience overall.

Overall the house was clean and comfortable. It had everything to cook with and the machine and freezer outside was a bonus. Great AC system and good water pressure in the shower which were welcomed after a long day on the water!

This was the second time that we stayed here. We enjoy it every time. The houseboat is well provisioned, clean and beautiful. The property manager was receptive and very nice. The ice machine was very handy for packing large quantities of fish in our coolers.

Great location
Houseboat right on main travel path of boats. Enjoyed watching the comings and goings of the ships. Easy pickup for our excursions. Nice newer houseboat. VRBO did not completely describe property amenities correctly. No wifi, checkout is 9:00 a.m. not 11:00. Houseboat needed a deep cleaning and some maintenance. Cell phone service sketchy. Once these are corrected then highly recommended.

Disgusting property and scammer homeowner
The property was the most disgusting VRBO we have ever been in. We were willing to look over these items but the homeowner is trying to charge us for issues that we dealt with because of their poor maintenance of the facility. - ice maker was left open and we had to remove blocks of ice to make operational - toilet was not operational when we arrived and had to fix - dishwasher was not empty - one of the recliners in the living room was not operational - continuous leak in the roof caused by improper AC installation - upstairs bed frame came a part and we had to fix - bedsheets were disgusting and have not been washed or cleaned - owner left a garbage cart in the living room - propane gas grill barely operational and layers of grease makes grease fire a risk.

So much fun in the Honey Hole!
My two friends and I had a great stay. The beds were comfortable and we cooked up some Cajun feasts in the nice, well equipped kitchen. I will be back ASAP!
