Very beautiful property right on the beach. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, it really quiet here. It is out of the way though so be prepared to shop for the things you need, ie water and snacks. The onsite restaurant was ok. The staff is very slow so don't go there if you have somehwere you need to be or are in a hurry. The food is decent but not great. The bartenders at night were amazing though and the drinks are really tasty. Overall I'd recommend staying here unless you want to be in the city. Its a great place for a quiet vacation. Rent a car though as Uber gets pretty expensive from this place.

We got engaged at the Hyatt, and the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. We even got a bottle of champagne and a very nice card. Great experience.

It was a great family vacation in February. The resort had a great pool, nice beach, neither were overcrowded. Our room was on the first floor with a patio that provided direct access to the pool. There was also a shared washer and dryer shared with the room next door. The room was small for 4 of us but we were fine since we spent such a small amount of time there. The resort also has 2 grilles, volleyball , soccer , a game room, a gym, and a casual restaraunt and bar that overlooking the beech !

We had a wonderful time at the Hyatt.the rooms were very spacious. The kitchen had every appliance needed and with plenty of room . The living room had. a long dining room table and a couch and good size tv and a nice window that looked out over the property and a ocean view with a door to the balcony. The bedroom was very spacious with entry to the balcony to. The bathroom and shower was great size. Now the best part. The beach and ocean were absolutely a piece of heaven. Warm water with waves. beautiful beach well maintained and a beautiful view and very peaceful .Also the bar and grill was just yards from the beach and big pools. The food was fantastic and the prices were very reasonable and it was hand made on site. We spent 5 days there and never went off the property. The week we went there was never more than 30 people on the beach and the pools were never crowded. We will be going back next year also many things for the kids to do well organized .

We rented a one bedroom condo and found it to be in great shape and very nice. The pool is great, there is a nice private beach in a cove and the restaurant is good. We loved our stay here and will be back.

This was our first time visiting Puerto Rico and I wouldn’t have chosen a better property. Our flight got in around 4 AM so I called the day before to let them know and they gave us clear instructions on how to check in. There is always a guard at the gate and when we got there, he was able to give us a key to our room. The next morning, while touring the property I cannot get over how beautiful it was and the easy access to the beach and restaurant nearby. There are many restaurants in the area that you can go to if you don’t want the restaurant on property, but the restaurant had decent food and drinks and the happy hour was always crazy but fun. live music, gift shop for necessities, and friendly staff. They even let us check out late the last day because our flight was at 10 PM! Over all I’d stay here again, oh and the best part was our room was gorgeous super spacious and modern design!

I wish these surveys would be 1-10. I rated it a 5 because I didn't want to negatively affect their scores. I would give it a 9. I'll start with my 2 complaints first (minor). Pool towels are located in your room, and you have to bring them down to the beach or pool. While this is fine, there is no place to get fresh towels throughout the day without out going back to your room, calling down to the front desk, and then wait for them to be delivered. No one wants to spend their vacation doing this. 2nd thing, if you are driving there and are not a member, you have to park across the street (not busy) and its a very short 2-3 minute walk. However, there are many large potholes that need to be fixed. On to the good. The rooms are in very good shape and the property is immaculate. The beach is beautiful, but does have some large waves. Not enough to stop us from going in. There is one restaurant/bar on site called Mahi Mahi. It is in between the beach and the pool. The serve til 11pm, but do open at 7am. The service was a little slow, but the drinks and food were really good, and had plenty of options. There are other options within 10 minutes of the resort. We were happy with all the places we ate. Also there is a grocery store 9 minutes from the resort. We were there the 2nd week of February and watched the Super Bowl outside on a big inflatable screen. Durado is a beautiful area and not crowded like San Juan which is about 40 minutes away.

The staff was truly great. They were all working hard. You could tell though that they were still trying to recover from hurricane damage. You need a car to stay at this location because there is only a small restaurant/bar with a very limited menu. However, there was a kitchenette that made it easy to eat some meals in the room. Beautiful small private beech.
