Overall, our stay was very good. The pool was excellent, and the beach was absolutely phenomenal, although we were advised that swimming was not recommended due to potential hazards. The room was clean and well-equipped, including a washer and dryer, which was a great convenience.
There is one restaurant and bar on the property, and the food was surprisingly good. The drinks were fine, but if you want other dining options, you’ll need to drive elsewhere — walking isn’t really an option. Also, be aware that it’s quite a drive to San Juan if that’s where you plan to visit.
The staff were friendly and offered some great local recommendations. However, the on-site store had very limited food, snack, and drink options, so it’s a good idea to bring your own supplies or plan a trip to the grocery store.
One thing to note: when booking through Expedia, the cost we were told we would need to pay at the hotel ended up being significantly lower than the actual amount charged at the property. This left us feeling a bit duped, so it’s something to be cautious about when booking.
There were no water sports available, and activities on the property were quite limited. That said, the gym was in excellent condition, and I enjoyed working out there. The recreation room was serviceable, but nothing special.
A minor drawback was the bathroom design in our room — there were no shelves or cabinets, leaving no convenient space for personal hygiene items.
