“My friends and I loved our stay at Ta’ Golina Corner House. As advertised, it was indeed on the corner of Republic St. and North Street. Republic is one of two main streets in the center of Valetta and North St. leads directly to The Maltese Experience, Fort St Elmo and the waterfront. The location could not have been more perfect. We were able to easily walk to anywhere we wanted in Valetta. There were numerous bars and restaurants close by as well as grocery stores, a bakery, a butcher and a……

“Charming place. Fantastic location. Have to walk 1 1/2 blocks uphill to main street. You are with the people so you hear the families all day. Would go back. Rooftop terrace is 62 steps steps up narrow winding staircase.definately”

“The view from the second floor or just outside the door is lovely. The property is quiet, but Valletta is super walkable, so everything is within range.”

“A lovely house that has been sympathetically refurbished to give a well-appointed home, with lots of lovely touches, like the availability of beach towels and a beach parasol . Floriana is very close to Valletta, but a little quieter and in a very friendly neighbourhood. Ilona is an excellent host and we would certainly book the property again.”

“The location is fantastic, within seconds of great restauarants and bars and all the sights. The apartment is atmospheric and full of character. We were grateful to be able to drop our bags early prior to the official chekck-in time. However, there were also some serious disadvantages. The apartment is 'tired' and in need of some love and attention, especially the soft-furnishings which were stained and dirty, including the dining room chairs, the sofa, and all of the cushions on the rooftop……

“This is a modern stylish apartment in an old building which has retained its historic character. The apartment is very nicely furnished and comfortable. It has wonderful views over the harbour to Three Cities.from the traditional balcony in the lounge and the bedroom window. It is in a great location in an old part of Valletta so near restaurants and shops. It is a short walk to all sights in Valetta as well as the two harbours and the bus station. The only negative was that there was a shortage……

“A quirky old Maltese house. Very clean and comfortable room and bed with lovely harbour views. The roof terrace was lovely but the lighting was all from the floor upwards and made seeing to walk around rather dangerous. Also unable to see to read on the balcony too due to the lighting and no comfy chairs to relax outside. ”

“The apartment is really nice and comfortable with a beautiful view. There is not a keyless check in which was an inconvenience. We had someone pick us up at the airport to deliver the keys but the cost of that was more than finding our own transportation to the property. Having someone meet us with the keys was not an option by the host for a 8 pm check in. Other than that issue everything was great and Malta is amazing. ”
