“First of all, the hosts (The Scheideman's) were absolutely the best ever. They made sure we were happy, and everything was just right to make our stay just what we expected. Second, the cabin was absolutely gorgeous and right on the water as advertised. Lastly, the location is just perfect. We were isolated and in a quiet Adirondack community but just minutes away from Saranac Lake amenities! We will definitely visit again...and again!”

“My wife, friends, and pups loved our stay at this mountain getaway. It's in a great section of Jay, NY, and sits smack-center of a large property so you feel hidden away from the neighbors while still having access to the local amenities (walking trails, pavilion, etc). The home has a great layout, and NO spiral staircase like many of these A-frame designs (which our pups appreciated). The hot tub was great for 4 people, and the firepit (and backyard in general) was awesome for stargazing……

“Overall, we had a nice stay at this property. The house was just as pictured. It had a nice view from the living and dining room. The kids loved the game room. The owner responded to our message quickly when we had a small issue. The Cabin was only 20 minutes from Marcy Field, and it was easy for our hikers to catch the shuttle to Big Slide or other trails. The Forty Six restaurant is not far either and has some great food. It is not too far from Lake Placid or Whiteface either. ”

“We came to Saranac Lake to check out the Adirondacks. It is a beautiful area. The Cabin is great for kicking back and soaking in the surroundings. We brought a boat with fishing in mind. Not such a good idea. Oh! the cabin advertisement indicated that it was "Blue" . Well, that's only half true. Like I said, we brought a boat so we could leave from the Cabin and fish. But, if one arrives at the cabin by water, it is brown, not blue. It rains on us for 3 days, but we still hadfun.”
