“Really unique accommodations. Very quiet and private "hides" or huts tucked on a hill overlooking beautiful Skye landscapes. A central building with an awesome dining room, bar and game/relaxing area is steps away. Check-in was fast and easy with friendly and professional staff. Only meals we ate here was breakfast and it was great. Service was great. Coffee was great. Poached eggs on avocado toast was great. Fruit and croissants were also great. Just a 10-12 minute stroll to Portree……

“Very cute hotel in the highlands, located on the loch. Loved our room and the small veranda overlooking the lake. The food was very good and more of a fine dining experience which suits me. If you are more of a fish and chip kind of person Portree is very close and offer plenty of places to get excellent fish and chips. ”

“Absolutely stunning. This hotel feels like it is at the ends of the earth, but it is so worth the effort to get there! Our room looked out on the North Sea with sweeping, gorgeous views. The staff was the best - all helpful. They suggested hikes in the area and pointed us to things the locals enjoy, making our stay even better. The restaurant was terrific - excellent food and staff. We loved everything about our stay and look forward to returning soon. ”

“The place is beautifully maintained and perfect for a comfortable stay in Portree. The real highlight is the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is truly excellent. And if you’re lucky, you might even spot the hotel’s beloved cat wandering through the lobby.”

“The hotel is kind of remote from the Main street of Portree; on the other hand, it’s very quiet and peaceful so that the visitors can fully enjoy the beauty of nature in Isle Skye. The room we stay is pretty simple but it’s clean and tidy. Most important of all, we have the great view of lake. Cloe, the front desk staff, shows her hospitality to make our stay even better.”

“Amazing location and stunning views. We enjoyed our stay here so much. What at first seems a tiny unassuming space is the most incredible place. Cleverly designed, fitted out to a high spec and well equipped including cleaning products, handwash, and shower wash/shampoo. It was especially lovely to be able to sit outside on the balcony in the great weather we had. As other guests have said, the bedroom is under the eaves of the slanted roof but we didn't find it a problem (despite one of us……
