“We stayed in this small home and found it to suit our basic needs in the countryside. I would describe it as more of a camping style. It met our needs of a place to stay with electricity and a hot shower. No complaints with the composting toilet. We enjoyed exploring the land and being outside under the stars at the fire pit.”

“The accommodation was awesome for a family of four consisting of two toddlers. Nestled away and very quiet. It was everything we could have ever wanted. We were also delivered fresh eggs, which made for an amazing breakfast. We will definitely rebook this our next trip out. Thank you!”

“The stay was great as I ended up booking 2 cabins to accommodate family and the host was very accommodating. No complaints and there's a restaurant directly across the street. We used this property last year, this year and I imagine next year as we come down for an annual event.”

“Adorable rentals, fully stocked. Want up to the rising of the sun over small hills and set animals like burros and llamas. Go help feed and clean up after the animals each morning and evening. It’s a working ranch of unique animals and has a unique playground for small children, a catch and release pond and room to take your walks with the animals. Not too far from restaurants or other activities. ”

“Weekend trip to Canton Trade Days with friends. Quiet, clean and thankful for all the small amenities! We brought some games with us for the evening and imagine our surprise to find more in the coffee table. The tea pods for the Kurig was fantastic ending to the day for winding down. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Cafe U and really enjoyed touring the Victorian home. You’re a gracious host!”

“We rented the house for the weekend as we had an event to attend. We brought the family and two small dogs. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The lake was very nice and although we didn’t have time to fish, it looks like a nice place to relax and catch a few. The fenced in yard was perfect for the dogs. We didn’t have to worry about them running off. There are neighbors nearby but we never saw or heard them. Restaurants aren’t far away in Gilmer either if you don’t……
