“We were there 6 nights & it is by far the BEST guest house we’ve ever experienced. The house is the perfect mix of being historic but also updated, so it feels fresh. Loved the high pressure insta hot water & super comfy bed. Great location for walking to dinner each night. And it was the perfect home base for day trips to Dunnottar Castle, Balmoral, Blair Castle & Glamis Castle for the Highland Games. The gardens and view from the house are gorgeous. As was the beautiful high quality……

Leider trügt der erste Eindruck etwas, denn bei genauerem Hinsehen entspricht das Erlebnis nicht ganz den Erwartungen, die das Erscheinungsbild weckt. Unser Zimmer war hingegen schön eingerichtet und sauber. Allerdings wurden gegen Mitternacht die Außenstrahler des Gebäudes eingeschaltet, die direkt in unser Zimmer leuchteten. Da die Vorhänge nicht bis zur Decke reichten, drang viel Licht ins Zimmer……

“Lovely little annex, amazing space for the money and great location. All the staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfasts were nice, quick - the porridge is delicious. Only complaints are the fridge was dirty and there’s no blind over the glass at the door and the street lamp light gets through when you’re trying to sleep. Would stay again!”
