“The cottage was Great, a very nice place. We enjoyed indoor and outdoor fires. Had fun in the kayaks and my dog even learned how to ride in the canoe! Only disappointment was no swimming. Water was not good quality. Did catch some small fish, even a couple enuf to have a snack on. Very private setting. Kari was always easy to get answer from too. ”

“The property was nice and had enough room and storage for our family. There were a few things that were broken and not clean when we arrived and we had to notify the property manager. He responded and apologized in a timely manner. Overall a nice stay.”

“This was our second time at Hide-away-bay. Just like the first year, it didn’t disappoint. Kevin is a great host, and the property is wonderful. Perfect for a big family vacation. The beach area and water ‘toys’ were the favorite of the kids. Close enough to town, restaurants, shopping, yet secluded and peaceful. Will be back!”

“The owners of the property had great communication. This place was warm & cozy. The location is the best you can get in Manitowish. We could walk to the park, restaurants, get coffee, etc. we have a large pontoon and they had a great pier and access that made things easy. Our family loved it and would recommend this place to anyone. ”

“We had a quick stay and mainly used the property to sleep and shower. It was in a lovely secluded place, very quiet!! Wish we would have had more time to enjoy it. Only thing I would suggest is that they clean the cobwebs out of the bathroom and the windows. Everything else was very clean!”

“Beautiful, clear water with sandy bottom and gradual slope from shore. Nice view of lake from wall of windows in living area. Kitchen fairly well stocked. Could have used a Pyrex measuring cup to heat water in microwave and some clean hot pads. Grill was not usable as grid was rusting. Paddle boat was broken so couldn't use it, but had canoe and kayaks. Was nice to have a gas fireplace for chilly evenings and an outdoor firepit. Tub/shower had good water pressure. Bed was comfortable.”

The upstairs screened-in deck was so relaxing, and all of the rooms were in top notch condition. So much wildlife to observe. Check in/out was straightforward.
