“Our family had not vacationed together for years. 4 sibilings, their spouses, and children spent time together on this trip. Not only were we celebrating our time together, but we were honoring our late father's passing. The home provided all we needed and was perfect for our time together. The extra water toys (kayaks, paddle boat etc.) were a bonus. The location was perfect for kayaking and swimming. The home was clean and had plenty of "starter" products that we barely needed to replenish.……

“This was THE perfect spot for one last hurrah/downtime before the school year and sports pick back up. It was remote and quiet with cover water access and kayaks. Everything in the kitchen works beautifully and their is plenty of beds and space to spread out. We really enjoyed our stay”

It was just as nice spending time in the cabin as it was hiking in Shenandoah and exploring nearby Orange. The entire weekend was such a nice escape from the city. “We had an amazing stay at Cozy Bear Cabin! It had everything we needed to relax and recharge. Each room is beautifully decorated, and it's clear the owners take great care of the property. The attention to detail really stood out—from the bear themed accents, to the cozy bonus loft, to the luxurious massage chair in the master bedroom. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. The outdoor space was just as impressive. The spacious deck was perfect for lounging, and……

“We loved the great-room just off the dining/kitchen area, as well as the boat dock for lounging and kayaking. Used the patio for grilling and campfire with s'mores. The location at the north end of the lake is a convenient launching point for area attractions. Couldn't really use the spare sitting room as a bedroom, but fortunately we didn't need it. Had a few minor issues, but the owner/host was very responsive. ”
