“Big unit and ac worked but that’s about it. Weekly clean and towel change only. Everything including pool shut down from 2-5pm in 45C heat?? Espresso and food overpriced by triple than everywhere else. More of a unit rental and your on your own. You can get a hotel for what I paid with full service in a major tourist area rather than this place. Tired building and far from beach, staff service non existent in any front. Seemed like they didn’t want to be there or help.”

“Il posto è davvero bello ma il personale sembra essere stato scelto a caso.I bagnini arrivano con comodo,tarda mattinata e non hanno compreso il loro ruolo.Incompetenza e maleducazione regna sovrana soprattutto al ristorante,se ti lamenti loro rispondono ancora peggio, a toni minaccia,uno in particolare.Il villaggio sembra un cantiere si può trovare di tutto...Prese volanti a bordo piscina,mattoni coperti da teloni,tombini nascosti da tavoli pick-nik.La sicurezza credo non sia un argomento……

“The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious although the bed was quite firm. The AC struggled but it was very hot outside! The beach area was great…chairs and umbrellas to rent. There was a lack of open restaurants in the area, this may be due to the time of year? Adjoining area appeared quite run down with a lot of trash which is unfortunate.”

“We stayed in the family suite on the fourth floor and our room was beautiful and so very spacious. We had a balcony overlooking the beach. Rain showed in the bathroom was awesome, all the facilities were modern and the staffs were friendly and so very helpful. Parking was easy and secure. We love it here. Highly recommended.”

“We stayed for 4 nights. The hotel is well located to several beaches and the grounds are very well maintained. The rooms are clean. We did not stay at the hotel, we stayed in one of the rooms(called a suite) within the hotel grounds.
Staff at the front desk were polite and check in/out process was quick and easy.
Breakfast is average and the service was basic.
As it was pouring rain one evening we deciding to try the hotel restaurant. We found the dinner to be a tad expensive and lacking……

“Wij begrijpen de commentaren van sommige mensen niet. Wij logeerden tijdens onze reis in Calabria in 5 hotels en wij kunnen stellen dat het San Domenico Hotel zeker niet moet onderdoen voor sommige 4sterren (!) hotels.
De kamer was heel netjes, de badkamer voldoende ruim en met een goedwerkende (!) douche EN haardroger. De handdoeken waren kraaknet en roken lekker. Ontbijt hebben wij niet genomen, maar als lunch kon je aan de poolbar gerust een vers belegd broodje bestellen. Eveneens een ruim……

“Ikke 4 stjerner, Max 2. Dusjen så vidt det kom vann ut av den og så trang at man må opne dusjdørene for å få vasket beina. Ikke wifi på rommet, bare ved resepsjonen. Frokost uten noe som helst grønt ei heller egg. Bare kaker, syltetøy. Tok kun naturell yougert og kaffe til frokost. Ved frokosten måtte jeg vise pass, pga jeg ikke var på frokostlista?”

“Très bel hotel et très bein situé.
Seul bémol, lors de la réservation nous n'avons pas été informé que l'hotel était fermé (hors-saison) et heureusement il y avait du personnel de service (entrain de faire des travaux avant lancement de la saison à partir de mi-Juin). Nous avons donc été reçu en formule B&B (Bed & Breakfast). Donc pas pu profiter de la piscine. Autrement le personnel était aimable et nous avons été content du service rendu.”
