I recently stayed at the Gladstone House Hotel in Toronto, and it was a disappointing experience from the moment I arrived. There was an unpleasant smell that hit me as soon as I walked in, which set a negative tone for my stay.
The room and bathroom were not only small but also uncomfortable and unappealing. The photos online were highly misleading, making it seem far more inviting than it actually was. After just a few minutes in the room, I knew I couldn't stay there.
I promptly informed the staff that I would be checking out, but to my dismay, they refused to issue a refund. I was charged for a two-night stay despite only being on the property for about ten minutes. Overall, I left feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.
