“We have been here now a couple of times and love it. A couple things you need to know if you're reading the other comments: Elite apartment is the only one that has the south balcony over the ocean (it is rentable and not the owners suite). The other two say resort view as you can't see the ocean from your apartment but can right outside your door on your deckbetween the buildings. The wall switches control the BOTTOM outlets. If the lamps are plugged into those, the switches work. The bed is……

“This is a great apartment with all the amenities you would need. The hosts went the extra mile and pre-stocked a few items in the refrigerator which allowed us to just relax and not need to immediately run out to the grocery store. It was clean and modern allowing us to relax and enjoy the space and each other.”

“This property was close to all the events associated with my 45th Santa Monica High School reunion. I appreciated the private entrance given I was coming and going all hours of the day. There are no major issues though and communication with the Host and the willingness of them to help in any way more than made up for any real or perceived shortcomings. “The location of this property is amazing. I am from Nebraska and two families stayed here. The pool was great for the kids and adults even though it was late fall. The pool heater worked great but the charge to heat is expensive and once you inquire cannot be undone once you have the invoice. Check in and out was very easy. The trash was almost full when we checked in but wasn’t too big of a deal. The private drive was so nice. This is all being picky. I want to emphasize that the area is great,……

“We booked a last minute trip to go to a Dodger’s game and not only was this spot affordable but it was a convenient location, clean, and comfortable. Edith was a great host and was very responsive and accommodating. Overall it was a short but great stay and exactly what we needed. ”

Although all required permits are provided, street parking availability varies with time of day and beach lot parking, while reasonably convenient, was commonly gated and locked. Apparently there is a code to open the lock, but we did not learn of that until the end of our stay which caused some inconvenience. ”
