“Although the reception is not opened for 24 hours, the duty staffs were helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel is a little bit far from the ferry terminal, it is still OK because Picton is safe even we needed to walk in the darkness between the terminal and the hotel. In addition, two supermarkets are not far away. I will choose this hotel again if I come back especially the room rate is reasonable. ”

“Tide Hotels knows how to do hospitality! Right from when I arrived I was welcomed as if I had been a guest many times before. Room service and restaurant service was friendly, meals were of good portion size and tasty. The room is well appointed with a comfortable bed and deck overlooking the river (if you choose this option). Shower has good water pressure and the bath salts provided are really nice. Would 10/10 stay again ”

“房間不大但夠用廚房用品一應俱全可惜只有使用了微波爐房間很可愛，讓人很放鬆住一樓面對小花園，要是有時間可在後院喝上一杯熱茶悠閒一下 check in櫃檯人超級好，我們電話告知八點多才能到，對於害他晚下班很抱歉（原本應該８點半下班），不但沒有不耐煩，還很熱心告訴我們哪裡還有吃的，下次若再來還是很推薦． ”

“Booked this motel because of the reviews and certainly wasn't disappointed. There was everything that we needed in the unit. “This was a great hotel! Rooms were very nice – spacious, clean, and quiet at night. The owners Max and Robyn are on site and were both super friendly, with lots of recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Hotel is within easy walking distance of the Nelson city center. Would definitely stay here again. ”

“A true farm house with chickens and fresh fruit trees. The house and our bedroom and bath were well furnished and clean. The owners were warm and very nice and had fresh fruit from the farm for us. The views down the hill were beautiful as well. We had returned from Golden Bay and heading west the next day and this being in Hope saved us a good 20 minutes being west of Nelson. Definitely recommend. ”
