“This property served as a fantastic base camp for our annual trip to the north woods. The house was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. On the first night, we noticed the exterior lights were not working. I contacted the host, and he had them repaired by the next day. The host was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. “The property was perfect for our group. Location was good area was quiet, lots of seating for everyone in the main area to visit and play games. Be aware that there are many stairs if you have anyone in your party that might struggle with stairs. There was lots of wood by the fireplace and everything was in working order. We really enjoyed our stay. We just went as friend group so we didn’t mind that two of the upstairs bedrooms had curtains for doors And there was plenty of space for everyone……

“We have been to Minocqua yearly for 10+ years. We love the location of this house, right on the main road by the lake. It is perfect size for us, just two of us. I would say the only thing I would add would be additional pillows (flatter). I also think board games would be a nice additional. Otherwise, we really enjoyed the stay and we’ve stayed a lot of places on the island. Prob one of our favorites to date. ”

“We brought our 91 yo mom on a fall getaway. We all enjoyed watching the lake and treeline change throughout each day depending on the sunlight. We cooked all of our dinners in the kitchen which had everything we needed. We played board games at night on the big table. Two of us went kayaking which was fun & easy to launch from & return on the sandy beach. The location was convenient for daytrips to Phillips and Timms Hill. It was also awesome that our small dog could join us. We had a great stay……
