“We chose Grand Lake Lodge for its beautiful location. The half-cabin is small. The shower is very small. We didn't expect to spend a lot of time in the room so it was not a big issue for us given the reasonable price and the excellent amenities in common areas. “The rooms need more lighting. For the price, I was a little disappointed in the room. The mattresses slide all over the bed, the pillows are very hard and pillow case was on inside out. With the shades closed, the room is very dark. The lights hang over the bed and are easy to bump. The coffee pot did not work properly. And there is a $15 amenity fee daily. We didn’t use the pool. So we paid for 1 s'mores bag. Meals and alcohol are very expensive. ”
