This delightful property was conveniently located within easy walking distance of the boardwalk/promenade in Tiberias, making food and shopping easy. The elevators arrive with a 'ding' like a doorbell, which is annoying throughout the night. The staff was gracious and helpful and the front desk is staffed 24/7.
We were disappointed in the pool - it was lovely and we were looking forward to using it. However, when asked what the hours were, we were told that it was not open because it was too cold (it was 91 degrees the following day). We were surprised when two days later children were in the pool.
We had a beautiful room with a gorgeous balcony. The thermostat worked well and the breakfast was generous. Our final night, however, the room was completely filled with cigarette smoke (we were trying to breath through the bed covers it was so intense). When we reported this, we were told, "This is Israel." So - just a heads up - if one is sensitive to smoke, be aware that you may be overwhelmed.
Parking is across the street from the hotel. It is easy to find a space in the evening, but can be difficult during the day. Had we not reached out directly to the hotel in advance to ask where to park, we would have been confused since it is not on the property proper. We were traveling around the country and, based on lack of parking at other hotels, we were very thankful for this convenience.
We highly recommend this hotel, with the caveat about the smoking.
