"This is the WORST experience we had booking with hotel.com. The rating is totally rigged! The rooms are big with a king and a queen bed in two rooms. The kitchen is nonfunctional and smells. It’s dirtier than a motel in the US. Very dated fixtures, dirty carpet, dirty and stinky bathroom and kitchen. Very poor fluorescent lightings, small towels and not well cleaned. The beds are ok but nothing special. The most ridiculous thing is we had to ask toilet paper from the front desk they pulled out...

"My wife organised this Hotel and frankly, I wish she hadn't. She based her booking on price and appearances (photos). Wrong. First and foremost, it's miles from anywhere of significance, certainly if you are a tourist as opposed to a business person visiting industry in the area. Secondly, the rooms, although large, the general aesthetic being quite spectacular and the many facilities available, tend to lull one into thinking that for the price they have got into something quite special....

"We stayed in crown plaza in Fuzhou and it was a great experience. So we gave Tianjin crown plaza a try. That experience turned out to a huge difference in a negative way. First night checked in to a room with broken fridge and floor covered in human hair. So we had to move to another room the next morning. But the second room wasn’t any better at all. It had a damaged/cracked sink and it had a bad sewer smell in the toilet room. The odor was spreading out to whole room and it became...
