“We just spent a long ski weekend with two other families. Enjoyed the location, the open floor plan, the hot tub. Size wise the house was a little tight for the whole crew. Beds are squeezed into the two lower bedrooms and there’s no separate space for kids to hang out (which we knew) . Clearly has some new elements in the kitchen but missing a handful of kitchen items you’d expec and is otherwise updated from whnm it was built”

“Nice quiet location with great views. You are out in mountains, we had a little furry visitor, but he was cute and no problem. The house was well stocked. Everything you could need. Would stay there again. ”

“The house is clean and has the basics. The light by hot tub was out and we reported it. The location of the house is good minus the actual driveway. We had three neighbors. We all got stuck trying to get out of the driveway in the snow. We have a ford f150 and it was still challenging. We almost had to call a tow truck to get over the steep driveway. I wish checkin was easier where you can just use key code to get into house rather than going to the office down the road.”

“Took a quick little trip out to this house for the weekend and, wow! Great set up for a group of guys looking to have a get together for a few days and unwind. And the host was fantastic. Communication was great and everything from check-in to check-out was easy as could be.”

“Pros: If you are a writer, artist, avid reader or just need a solitary vacation this is a perfect home. The kitchen is very well outfitted for preparing meals and the gas grill outside is large. There is a screened in porch with a picnic table for eating or painting outside the kitchen. There is a mown path down to the river for easy access. The MB has a very comfortable bed. “Overall the home was beautiful, in a wonderful area. The property was super nice, with good amenities. The only complaint that my new bride and I shared was the master bed. While it looked nice, the mattress was Very, Very firm. A mattress topper woupd have made the home perfect. ”

“Our stay was very good- the location was centrally located to the places we wanted to visit - Blackwater Falls, Canaan Valley, the Dolly Sods and the town of Thomas. The fenced yard was perfect for our fur baby - he loved being able to run around. If you go during the week please note a lot of restaurants etc aren’t open certain days or have limited hours - hard to find a breakfast spot or places to have a drink. Also shops in Thomas only 2 were open on Wednesday. We had great food at……
