“Love the vintage feel, and location is great, but the view was great!”

“Christmas trees were beautiful and old beautiful surroundings!! Everyone nice and friendly! We were in the tower-great views, but took the hot water forever to warm up and barely lasted for two showers!!”

“This place calls itself a Yacht Club??? What a Joke!! When we arrived our keys were in lock boxes cause they don't have on site staff after 5pm. The doors do not have dead bolts, slide bars, or chains. We did not feel safe at all. Never been to a hotel that didn't have a dead bolt or chain on their door. The restaurant had a sign on the door "permanently closed". There were no cars at all in the whole parking lot, it seemed like the place was abandoned. There were no other guests there yet room……

“Visited a month after TS Helene came thru Asheville. I think the hotel is doing remarkably well for resolution it. I found it very convenient to downtown with plentiful parking. Hope to visit again when the situation has normalized in Asheville. Thank you for the hospitality!”

“Historic property with aged facilities which adds to the character. Comfortable and unique, with access to the lobby after reception closed. The highlight was the amazing breakfast that is included. Truly delicious and worth the visit. Recommend. ”

“We stayed here bc we were coming from out of town for Thanksgiving. It was quiet and comfortable. Free breakfast, coffee and tea. The room could’ve been a little cleaner though. We travel with cleaning supplies, so we just cleaned the room ourselves.”
