“The food options are limited, breakfast options are same everyday, also very few options.. Despite being a 5 star, it doesn’t feel like one. There is very little space in the property where you can sit and enjoy the surroundings. There are no views as such, there is steep hike to the Ganga. The Ganga Arti is nice. In the night since it’s so close to the road, you can hear trucks noise all night. Staff is polite but requests take forever to fulfil.”

“I booked this sight unseen, from the US. We Rishikesh for a memorable trip - this hotel was well reviewed on several sites. It is set in a spectacular location, with a clear view of the Ganga. The approach road is, as is typical for Rishikesh, a one-lane narrow street - friendly people at both ends keep watch to ensure that cars do not go in at the same time at both ends! “I spent two weeks at Yog Niketan and loved my beautiful room which led out onto the garden. The Ganges and the ghats were right there, through a gate from the garden. It was a 5 minute walk to a nightly aarti, about 10 minutes walk to Ram Jhula bridge and another 15 minutes or so to Laxman Jhula. Just a perfect location. At Yog Niketan a few things are included in the stay, notably a yoga session in the morning and a lovely chanting meditation in the evening, by Apana. I did the chanting every……

“It was an Excellent break from Delhi....the Servers were Very Hospitable, Courteous, and the Massage therapy were superb too. Food was delicious and they Cooked every thing fresh for you..... Couldn't ask for more..... really enjoyed the experience....”

“We booked family grand room. However, we were given a room that was completely different from the photos of the room that is in description. While the room could fit 3 adults and was as big, the decor of the room resembled the rooms with earthly decor. This was initially disappointing. The room as per photos were all booked out. “The ultimate benefit of staying in this property is that it has a large rooftop with an amazing mountains/hills facing view with the river Ganga flowing and can see the bridge too. The other unique selling point is that the clean, quiet Ganga ghat is just a minute's walking distance. The staff is also very nice. I would recommend staying in this property.”
