「Thank you Barbara! The accomodation was compact & nicely presented. It had everything we needed. It was secure & safe with the gated entry & exit. The front covered deck a lovely space to enjoy outdoor dining & the perfect spot for my Mum to read her book. The beds were comfy & the highlight was the community heated pool.」

「We stayed here 5 years ago and bought our kids back last weekend. They're older now (and there's an extra one) yet still the magic of this property was so special. The joy that they had here - all the little touches and treats. It was so cool. Plus we loved the chance to unplug, the birdsong and serenity. It was a stunning break! Thank you for having us :)」

「Barefoot Cottage is a must stay! Marg was a fantastic host, offering proactive and unprompted extra amenities when needed which was greatly appreciated. The Cottage is located within a few minutes walk away from Waipu Cove Beach & Cafe, making it the perfect place for an enjoyable holiday home. 5/5 」

「The house was nice, tidy and clean with good amenities. We enjoyed a walk in a small green area at the end of the street and around the quiet neighbourhood. It was a quick drive to beach areas, shops and the Brick Bay sculpture farm. It was rainy during our stay so we made use of games and jigsaw puzzle, and the luxury coffee pods」

「We celebrated our 25th anniversary at this delightful property! Communication was fabulous with Shirley. This home was absolutely perfect with all the amenities needed and n the kitchen to prepare our picnic lunches for our trips north. This location provided us with many options for snorkeling at Goats Island, hiking at Whangerie Falls, beach walking at all of the beautiful coastline. We definitely rate this above a five and would return again and again.」
