“Cozy house with all the gadgets needed for a great stay with a group. We had 6 adults and 6 kids which we piled into one room with the bunk beds. 2 kids fitting on the bottom beds as they are bigger. The bunks could do with an oil as they were quite squeaky but other than that an overall good stay. Thanks!”

“It's a good value cottage in a good location just a few minutes from National Park and close to Whakapapa. It could do with a good spring clean, but you can't argue the price. Previous guests could've done more to clean like empty the bins properly, but overall would recommend and the description was accurate! Thanks for having us.”

“Great accommodations. Near good restaurants, within driving distance from Tongariro (our reason for visiting this area), clean, comfortable beds. Only drawback is that there's only one bathroom for two couples. However, the toilet is in its own room - separate from the shower, but with a sink for hand-washing in each room. That made this facility workable for us. Highly recommend.”

“The chalet was the perfect stay for us to explore Tongoriro National Park. The park turnoff was 15 minutes away. The National Park town has numerous dining options with a number of places that have incredible outdoor views. The turn is small and walkable and very safe and quiet! The chalet was well equipped with comfortable beds and also has great views of the surrounding areas and the volcanoes along with Mt Doom from Lord of the Rings! Our hosts were communicative and answered our questions……
