I booked two nights with Hotel Seven Seasons as a solo traveller.
Having checked-in to the hotel at 4 am following a pre-wedding reception, the staff locked the hotel door, and they were taking a rest. Checking-in was smooth, thanks to my Uzbek friends who were with me. The hotel staff then carried my bag to my room and that's when things got interesting.
Upon reaching my room, the staff informed me that instead of getting a queen size bed that I requested, I got three single beds. In addition, one of the bed was clearly used, in which the staff clarified that the room was unoccupied before I checked in. He later informed me that I would be placed in my assigned room the next morning.
However, this was not done at all. I had to attend a wedding the next day and didn't return until 2 am. The staff did not apologise to me, despite promising to make the change the night before. I checked out the very next day.
Coming back to the room's condition, it was decent. The bed was firm; the toilet was clean and electrical appliances were working. Decent wifi speed and modest breakfast.
Pros: Friendly staff
Spacious room
Nearby supermarkets and restaurants
Complimentary bottled water provided
Decent Uzbek breakfast
Cons: Not delivering up to expectations for the room
Unkept bed (1 out of the 3)
Couldn't access the swimming pool (based on booking.com) and the fitness centre
