"The location is very convenient for the centre as well as sites just outside like Pukekura Park and Brooklands Park where WOMAD takes place. There was daily housekeeping and the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when i needed to book an extra night.. The room and shared hotel facilities were clean. It doesn't currently have on site cafe/restaurant, but there are a number of really good places within a short walk. It's close to the local bus services and the coastal walk which is a beautiful walk in places. It has a guest laundry which i found useful. The hotel itself despite being close to town, felt quite peaceful and relaxed. I would happily stay again."

"While this is an older property, it is well maintained. We were upgraded to a two bedroom unit for our stay. Although the decor was older, it was well kept, clean and had good amenities, including a kitchenette with a full oven. It was a straight shot down the road to the cbd and was easy to find on arrival into town. We would happily stay here again."
