"We had a great stay at this home and really appreciated all the extra touches. The hosts truly thought of everything—plenty of toiletries, kitchen essentials, and even small conveniences like chopsticks, aluminum foil, an air fryer, and dog bowls. We were able to cook multiple meals without needing anything extra. It felt like a home away from home, making for a very comfortable week. The beds were also very comfortable, and we appreciated the USB power strips in the bedrooms and the provided hangers, which made it easy to settle in.The area was also very nice, with lots of neighbors out walking, running, or taking their pets for a stroll, which made for a welcoming and safe atmosphere. Communication with the host was excellent—she was quick to reply and even informed us promptly of a WiFi outage, keeping us updated along the way.As for areas of improvement, the home does show some natural wear and tear, as expected with an older house. The blinds were a bit dusty, and the floors creaked, but neither was a major issue. The backyard lighting could be better, especially for late-night pet outings. Additionally, the lights for the backyard and hallway leading to the outdoors are controlled from the first floor, so since we were staying upstairs, we weren’t able to adjust them when needed. The rooms also tended to get warm at night if the doors were closed, so we found it best to leave them open for better air circulation when using the heater. Lastly, the dryer required mult"

"So clean and so much thought put into a small but well-appointed place. Bed niche was cozy and comfy. If you need to sleep separately, you could sleep on the roomy couch. Property has a unique history as a home bakery and the owner has decorated with nostalgia (I actually found a little Chaucer to read!).The little kitchen is well equipped with utensils, appliances and treats. The living room is spacious and well lit, and the bathroom is sparkling and convenient to the bed. Location is quiet and walkable, but do research to find food. Owner most helpful, understanding and kind. Would be glad to return there if we return to Tacoma. Recommendations: Happy Hour at Primo Grill (good food) on 6th, and the Antique Sandwich Company up in Ruston. Five-star experience all around."

"Our stay here was amazing! The house is gorgeous and had plenty of space and was very tastefully decorated. The master bed/mattress was very comfortable. Sheets were soft and there were plenty of towels and amenities. That living room big round swivel chair was the best! Location and neighborhood - adorable! Very cute area. The parking situation wasn’t the best but everything there is on an hill. "
