“The house was better than we expected. I thought it was a house just off the road but wasn't expecting it to be 1.4 miles into the woods. But that was the BEST part for us as a family. We love the woods and the adventures of the back country roads vs. normal roads. Now for the house, it was very comfortable and welcoming. Had everything we needed besides food. We enjoyed the back deck every morning for coffee just listening to nature. Nice family cookouts for dinner and campfires in the……

“Myself and some friends stayed at Nickey's Nest for the Labor Day holiday. The home was perfect for us. We had everything we needed and enjoyed the backyard fire pit and the front porch for relaxing and spending time with friends. The location was perfect for hiking Ricketts Glen and Worlds End parks. Highly recommend and hope to be staying there again in the future!”

“The lodge is designed for living on multiple levels with several bedrooms and different bed configurations. This allowed us to sleep 15 (children and adults) in ways that suited everyone's needs. The one bedroom listed with two bunk beds actually has one bunk bed (and double) but we were able to make do with a blow up mattress. “We’ve stayed here at least 3 times and it keeps getting better. The hosts have made numerous upgrades. Peaceful and quiet yet fairly central to the places you may want to see. Great covered back porch from which you can hear the waterfall in the koi/bullfrog pond. We will definitely stay again. ”
