“I was blown away by this property and the property managers. Words don't do it justice. It's adorable, unique, clean, peaceful and there is something enjoyable for everyone of all ages. From the downstairs bookstore just casually available in the living room, the fireplace, to the field of flowers in the back, and the screened in porch, to the refurbished bathtub reading nook. It was a magical place on a magical island and the perfect stay! ”

As with most older homes with older furnishings there is always extra mantenance needed over the years (having grown up in a house in Uk that was Elizabethan at one end and Georgian at the other I can attest to that!) “My family had so much fun in Maine. The house is in a great location. Walking distance to Lincolnville beach, great coffee shop next door, great market next door, close to Camden hills, we hiked Mount Megunticook, shopped in Camden, took the Ferry to Isleboro and spent the day. “We enjoyed our stay very much. If it had been warm enough to enjoy all of our meals outside that would have been wonderful. We didn’t plan or pack for any rain but when it poured for a solid day, we were thankful for the cabin’s shelter and wifi and umbrella when we went out. Although we brought an infant and a 2.5yo, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this property for such little/young kids unless you’re prepared for spotting them up and down the ladder.
