“Lovely well kept hotel. Rooms are getting tired however the downstairs and communal areas are beautifully well kept. The cleaners do a fantastic job.
The restaurant food was good although the chips were undercooked each time we had them. The breakfast was beautiful all three mornings - not one complaint!
The reception staff were lovely, bright and friendly. The restaurant staff were friendly except one chap who seemed very stressed and short when we asked for a simple table of four. All in……

“Beautiful property although out of the way. Big portions on bar food and reasonably priced.
Only couple of downsides. No cappuccinos at breakfast as like to start day with one and ac not working and had to bring in our own. Definitely work a return visit.”

“On arrival we found the car park with plenty of space. The grounds around the hotel where outstanding and the lama's/ sheep where a lovely touch too.
As we entered the reception it was warm and inviting the staff on reception where very jolly, hepful and greeted us with pleasant warm smiles.
Check-in was quick and straight forward.
The room was outstanding.
All meals where good, evening meal presentation was outstanding and from one chef to another food quality and taste 5 star 🌟

“Place was quiet and secluded. My phone has practically 0 service and WiFi only worked for me outside. For 2 of us visiting the area for golf and stretch the Euro, it was perfect. We did run into some minor issues but didn’t get any response from Sykes management. Bathroom light stopped working during middle of our trip but we didn’t know how to get a hold of anyone and vrbo messaging didn’t work. They provide washer but there was no laundry detergent. There was fire place but couldn’t find……

“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Ballindrum Farm. My room was clean, nicely decorated, and had a beautiful view. Mary (the owner) was very welcoming and even drove me to town because I didn't have a car. To top it off, guests are allowed to watch the cows being milked every day from a viewing gallery (yes, Ballindrum is also a working dairy farm). I highly recommend it.”
