“We had a great trip during the week at the last minute (x2 nights)! The host let us check in a few hours early and was super friendly. The neighborhood was very calm and quiet and you can't beat being right on the water. We took advantage of the kayaks and life-vests. Perfect location for easy paddling and open-water kayaking as well. The description could have been a little more clear about the rental being right next to the owner's own house. “We had a nice relaxing time. My husband fished off the dock. I sat and read my books. The area was quiet and peaceful. The view was gorgeous. The house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. If you’re looking for somewhere with tons to do in the area… this isn’t that. We did find a National park nearby for swimming and boating and hiking but there are few restaurants and the closest Walmart was 40 minutes away. But that’s exactly what we were looking for, so it was perfect.”
