“I stayed at this property for 2 days due to work and I was highly satisfied. The house was very welcoming, smelled amazing, and was decorating nice.The host was exceptional and made sure all of my needs were met. The fact that the essentials were provided plus some made my stay even better. I didnt have to worry about packing everything under the sun because it was already there. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to visit Mattoon. ”

“Our stay at Paradise Lake was lovely. It was a half hour from our daughter. The house is well-appointed and has everything you need. It is very clean. Tom and Salisa are easy to work with. Our Grandkids wanted to fish but the lake was too icy. It was wonderful to celebrate Christmas and bring in 2025 with our family!”

“The interior of home was very nice, cozy and beautiful. The bedding, towels and throws were very nice. The exterior once decking and patio get upgraded would be very enjoyable. “The home was decorated for the Christmas season and the kitchen has all the supplies we needed to cook for our entire family. Having the crib as well made it super nice to bring one less thing for some family members. The weather was yucky but at least we got to stay cozy next to the fireplace and enjoy the peacefulness. The only thing id mention is to recommend for the cleaners to double check all rooms to make sure there are no unwanted animals. We did have some surprise visitors that arrived……
