“PROS: The location is wonderful, set off a quiet road just outside of Stowe. Aside from some minor changes to the interior, the listing was very accurate. A cozy fire pit down by the stream was wonderful. Overall, the location was exactly what we were looking for. CONS: Did not appear to be cleaned after previous guests, or at least not fully. Damp laundry was sitting in the washer, and the linens for the main bed hadn't been cleaned. The gas fire pit was out of propane. ”

“It’s quaint and charming cabin. Our first time to Vermont, seeing the colors and Stowe. Great location. Beds were very comfortable. Everything was nice and clean. Easy to find and check in. Maude was quick to communicate and gave recommendations that were helpful. A welcoming gift of pancake mix and Vermont maple syrup was waiting on the counter for us. I would definitely stay again and would recommend Maude’s place. ”

“Little House was perfect for our stay! It was so quiet, beautiful, and peaceful, and Jennifer is an excellent host. She was very communicative when the wind caused a brief power outage and brought us over some extra water during that time! We visited Montpelier, Stowe, Waterbury, and Burlington during our weekend and all locations were easy to get to (and the drives there were beautiful!). An added bonus was the house being so close to Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks. Would definitely stay here……

“The property was absolutely stunning! Surrounded by trees, it was a dream for sure. The parking was a bit small but it didn’t matter, as we didn’t have anyone guests. “We loved staying in this cozy cabin! We had a bit of a hiccup with check in (the door code didn’t work and Vacasa was difficult to get ahold of) but once we were in, we really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was clean and comfortable. The kids loved making smores in the fire pit and our dog loved sleeping in front of the fireplace. We would definitely stay here again!”

“The loft space was so perfect. There was a separate building from the main house and it was clean, nicely decorated and had everything you could need. The owners were very nice and checked in on us after arrival. It was close to town, about a five minute drive and was situated on a beautiful property. It was pet friendly and we brought out dog, the owners left out treats for her. I would recommend this to anyone who visits the area. ”

“There are a lot of good things about our stay. We loved being able to walk through Stowe at all hours. We loved the convenience of having a market right next door. And I was able to get a haircut right downstairs. The rec path was close and delightful to walk on. But we had no hot water--none--for the entire stay. Before arriving we were told the hot water heater needed a part that wouldn't be available for 3 days. We were even offered another rental to use instead, but it wasn't right downtown……
