Inside there is also a library where you can read from our wide selection, work from your laptop, play chess, etc. Get your food to go and have a picnic by the creek. Story, WY is a hidden gem in the Bighorn Mountains, an easy 25 min drive from Sheridan or Buffalo. Hardly out of the way if you are heading by on Highway 90. The town, population 903, is convenient for mountain climbing, fishing, horseback riding, swimming, and hiking trails, as well as several historical sites. It is also perfect for wildlife watching, and you will likely see deer and wild turkey from your window.
